Job summary

West Capital Lending is seeking a Loan Officer to guide clients through the financing process, assess financial information, and tailor loan solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance. You will work with leads and receive full backing from an in-house manager and processing team to support timely approvals and a smooth client experience.

The role blends sales, service, and strategy. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, an active NMLS license, and strong interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in financial services.
• Current Loan Officer license (NMLS).
• Strong understanding of loan products, underwriting, and industry compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to assess financial data and determine creditworthiness.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications by reviewing credit reports, financial documents, and client goals
• Recommend appropriate loan products based on client eligibility and financial situation
• Guide clients through the entire loan process, ensuring a smooth and informed experience
• Verify documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and support teams to drive timely approvals
• Maintain detailed knowledge of lending guidelines, market conditions, and regulations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and referral business
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals
