Job summary

West Capital Lending, Inc. is seeking a motivated Loan Officer in Seattle to help clients secure financing that fits their needs. You will review financial data, guide clients through the loan process, and tailor solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You’ll work with leads and have full backing from an in-house manager and processing team to support sales and service goals, requiring excellent communication and organization.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Loan Officer or similar role in financial services.
• Licensed Loan Officer (NMLS) current/active.
• Strong understanding of loan products, underwriting and compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to assess financial data and determine creditworthiness.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and loan processing software.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications by reviewing credit reports, financial documents and client goals.
• Recommend appropriate loan products based on eligibility and financial situation.
• Guide clients through the entire loan process, ensuring a smooth and informed experience.
• Verify documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors and support teams to drive timely approvals.
• Maintain knowledge of lending guidelines, market conditions and regulations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and referrals.

Requirements
