What You'll Do

Inspire Home Loans (a Century Communities, Inc. affiliated company) is seeking an experienced Loan Officer to support our homebuilder in Texas. This role involves identifying, developing, and maintaining customer financing objectives, advising on product and pricing policies, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This position is remote, but candidates must reside in MI.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Collect and analyze customer financial information to determine loan eligibility, in accordance with company policies and applicable law.
• Advise borrowers on risks and benefits of various loan options.
• Discuss available loan products to meet individual needs.
• Gather all necessary documentation to approve loans.
• Communicate effectively with customers, sales, processing, underwriting, closing, title companies, and builders.
• Lock the interest rate.
• Manage personal production and ensure timely closings.
• Meet or exceed company standards.
• Provide professional and high-quality customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Have

• Thorough knowledge of loan types including Conventional, FHA, Jumbo, and VA.
• Builder experience preferred.
• Proficiency with loan origination systems, Encompass experience preferred.
• Proficiency with AUS (LP, DU, GUS).
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Experience with first-time homebuyers is a plus.
• Ability to handle workload independently.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, organized.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Your Education And Experience

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of loan origination experience, builder experience preferred.
• Active MI Mortgage Loan Officer license; willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed.
