Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Loan Modification Coordinator to oversee the end-to-end loan modification process, ensuring milestones and documentation progress in compliance with investor and regulatory requirements. You will act as the main liaison across Servicing, Legal, Underwriting, Closing, Post-Closing, and Systems teams.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and proficiency with loan modification workflows and documentation management.

Qualifications

• Education level: Bachelor's Degree directly related to the position or equivalent, preferred.
• Experience: Minimum five years' experience in a variety of roles is required.
• Additional qualifications include strong math aptitude and ability to work with quantitative data.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily execution of the loan modification process from initial review through completion.
• Ensure loan files progress through Encompass milestones per workflow rules and timelines.
• Review and resolve stalled, delayed, or exception-driven modification files.
• Provide guidance and escalation support to loan modification processors, underwriters, and staff.
• Serve as the primary operational point of contact across Servicing, Legal, Underwriting, Closing, Post-Closing, and Systems teams.
