West Michigan Credit Union in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a friendly Member Service Representative to assist members with their lending needs and guide them through the loan process.

You will pull credit reports, calculate debt-to-income ratios, prepare underwriting documents, and help open memberships while identifying cross-selling opportunities and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all credit union products and policies.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CU*Answers experience preferred.
• Lending experience preferred.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be detailed oriented.
• Be able to work Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Responsabilidades

• Assist members with the loan application process.
• Pull credit reports and calculate the debt-to-income ratios.
• Prepare loan applications for underwriting and complete necessary documentation to fund or deny a request.
• Open memberships.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and make appropriate recommendations of products and services to meet the financial needs of members.
• Develop and maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of all credit union products and accounts and related policies and procedures.
