Job summary

ORIX USA is seeking an Associate to manage a loan portfolio's insurance obligations, analyzing property, liability, and regional perils to ensure coverage adequacy and compliance with loan documents and investor requirements. The role involves coordinating with Borrowers and Agents to bind annual coverage and addressing non-compliance issues promptly.

We value knowledge of Property, Liability, Auto, Crime, Wind, Flood and Earthquake coverages, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in commercial real estate mortgage insurance compliance processing or related insurance roles
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize assignments with deadlines
• Discretion and confidentiality in daily activities
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of core insurance coverages (Property, Liability, Auto, Crime, Wind/Named Storm, Flood, Earthquake)
• Review loan borrower/agent policy renewal information for compliance with loan documents and investor requirements
• Remediate non-compliant insurance issues via information requests and corrective measures
• Respond timely to inquiries with proper notification, escalation and coordination with management
• Monitor reports and deadlines; communicate portfolio status to manager or team lead
• Utilize servicing systems and software to facilitate insurance reviews
• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements for product types and ensure team awareness
• Other projects and duties as assigned
