Job summary

BrightBridge Credit Union in Bridgewater, MA is seeking a Consumer Loan Funder to fund fully documented originated consumer loan applications. You will work with applicants, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure a smooth funding experience.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and experience with loan funding processes. This is a full-time, on-site position aimed at delivering timely loan closings and contributing to member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school education or equivalent required.
• Two to three years of member service/loan experience with a financial institution.
• Experience with data entry, PCs, and office equipment; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate funding and processing for all consumer loan products.
• Handle data gathering, entry, verification, and updating in the LOS; evaluate membership eligibility, credit reports, income, expenses, insurance and collateral where applicable.
• Maintain a monthly consumer funding ratio of at least 60% of applications.
• Serve as primary contact for applicants; update on loan status and schedule disbursement; assist call center and branch staff.
