Job summary

Genesis Capital is seeking a Loan Analyst to support the origination team in converting loan applications into funded loans. You will communicate with internal teams, vendors, and borrowers to keep the funding process on track while delivering excellent customer experiences.

The role requires high attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and clear communication with high-powered clients. On-site role; on-site requirement noted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in real estate related industry preferred.
• Experience in private money lending, underwriting or construction finance a plus.
• Understanding of mortgage underwriting and funding process.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Detail oriented, organized, able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume loan pipeline and ensure loans close on schedule.
• Coordinate third-party vendor orders and monitor SLA.
• Perform quality control of documents for title, deeds, escrow, and closing statements.
• Assist Relationship Associate in reviewing/clearing conditions.
• Prepare loan files for asset underwriting and update processing system.
• Maintain pipeline status and funding dates; support closing processes.
