Job summary

Genesis Capital, a leading business purpose lender, is seeking a Loan Officer to drive loan origination by expanding relationships with existing borrowers and by actively closing new deals. You will structure terms, prepare LOIs, and guide loans from lead to funded status, while maintaining regular CRM activity and delivering a superior client experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, sales or business administration.
• Sales, specifically in lending industry.
• Strong understanding of the real estate and financial sector.
• Real Estate License required.

Responsibilities

• Drive loan origination by cultivating existing borrower relationships and increasing lending volume.
• Develop and close new borrowers and loans from various sources.
• Communicate Genesis value proposition to borrowers.
• Maintain regular contact with borrowers via in-person meetings, calls and emails.
• Interface with multiple Genesis departments to accelerate loan vetting and funding.
