Job summary

Genesis Capital is seeking a Loan Analyst in Los Angeles to support the origination team and convert loan applications into funded loans. You will liaise with borrowers, vendors, and internal departments to move loans through the Genesis origination process, ensuring timely funding and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years in real estate related industry preferred.
• Experience in private money lending, underwriting or construction finance a plus.
• Understanding of mortgage underwriting and funding process.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume loan pipeline and ensure loans close as scheduled and in compliance.
• Coordinate lien resolution with title and third parties.
• Prepare and submit complete loan files for asset underwriting.
• Update internal loan processing system with data fields, docs, and notes.
• Assist in the maintenance of Genesis’s digital filing system and support other projects.
