Job summary

FVCbank is seeking a Loan Documentation Specialist to support the Lending staff and Loan Administration in day-to-day loan operations. The role focuses on preparing documents, coordinating settlements, and ensuring compliance through the closing and funding processes.

The ideal candidate has solid experience with loan documentation, attention to detail, and strong organization. This position supports commercial, real estate, and consumer loans within a banking environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Highly organized.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Receive new loan approvals, renewals, modifications and/or extensions and review for completeness.
• Engage title companies and order lien searches; ensure documents comply with policy.
• Prepare loan documentation with LaserPro and deliver for review.
• Engage attorney as needed and coordinate draft documents with loan officer and underwriter.
• Prepare funding and booking forms after settlement and forward to funding and booking.
• Assist in documentation, closing, funding and booking of Lightning Lending Loans.
• Order checks for HELOCs when necessary.
• Upload/scan files to M-Files; update Loan Status Report daily.
• Manage post-closing ticklers and ensure post-closing requirements are met.
