Job summary

Foothills Bank is seeking a Loan Documentation Specialist to review loan files for proper documentation and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with lenders and processors to resolve issues, index documents in Synergy, and support CRA/HMDA reporting.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines. You will handle pre-closing and post-closing reviews, assist with inquiries, and maintain SOX and ECM-related records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• Two years of college or equivalent work experience in loan functions desired.
• Proficiency with 10-key, accurate typing, and strong spelling/grammar.
• Professional and friendly attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors.
• Sound judgment handling confidential information and deadlines.
• Ability to follow policies and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review loan files pre-closing and post-closing for compliance and documentation per policy and regulations.
• Index loan documents in Synergy and ensure file completeness.
• Perform data validation for CRA and HMDA reporting.
• Assist customers and staff with loan servicing inquiries including payoffs and payments.
• Maintain loan file tracking, reporting, and SOX compliance tasks.
