Job summary

You will work with lending and loan operations teams to ensure accuracy, timely completion, and compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures; prior experience with loan documentation software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of consumer and commercial lending compliance requirements.
• Basic knowledge of consumer and commercial lending policies, procedures, and practices.
• Basic knowledge of various city, county and state filing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assists lending staff on pre-closing documentation for loan document preparation and loan closing.
• Works with lending staff and Legal counsel to address discrepancies and deficiencies with loan requests and produces solutions.
• Reviews and validates documentation collected by retail staff for accuracy and compliance with loan approval.
• Reviews approved credit memos to determine loan type and structure and to correctly identify loan documents.
• Gathers all documents for loans to ensure adherence to terms and proper collateral perfection.
• Resolves errors on document requests through professional communication and timely follow-up on time-sensitive transactions.
• Performs all job functions in compliance with company policies and applicable laws including BSA/AML and GLBA/privacy rules.
