Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist in Sacramento, CA to join the loan operations team on-site. The role focuses on preparing commercial loan documents based on approved terms, using LaserPro, and ensuring accuracy through collaboration with lenders, credit, underwriting, and legal partners.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in banking or loan documentation and is proficient in LaserPro, with strong detail orientation and ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant banking or loan documentation experience.
• Hands-on commercial loan documentation experience strongly preferred.
• Direct experience generating loan documents using LaserPro highly preferred.
• Understanding of commercial loan structures and documentation requirements.
• Ability to read and work from approved credit terms.
• Familiarity with business entities and related borrower documentation.
• Working knowledge of collateral, lien perfection, title and insurance requirements.
• Ability to identify missing information and professionally follow up with lenders.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously.
• Collaborative working style with the confidence to raise documentation concerns when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial loan documents based on approved credit terms using LaserPro and other systems.
• Review credit approvals and supporting documentation for completeness before drafting documents.
• Identify missing or inconsistent info and coordinate with lenders to resolve.
• Review documents for fees, borrower info, collateral, and closing conditions.
• Coordinate pre-closing and closing activities, including signatures.
• Order and track third-party docs like title, flood certs, insurance, entity docs.
• Support collateral verification, lien perfection and related docs.
• Collaborate with lending, credit, underwriting, legal and outside counsel as needed.
• Review documents for signatures, dates and disclosures.
• Research and resolve documentation exceptions and deficiencies.
• Support post-closing exception tracking and file maintenance.
