Job summary

Farmers State Bank is seeking a Loan Document Specialist to deliver high-quality service to internal customers. You will interpret policies, analyze loan applications, review documents, and ensure verification processes are completed.

The role includes imaging of credit information, maintaining appraisal data, preparing credit reports, and tracking collateral insurance while maintaining compliance and supporting processing teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 year college degree or applicable work experience.
• Bank related training/education preferred.
• Proficient computer skills to include Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective problem solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities in a deadline oriented environment.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable, courteous and professional.

Responsibilities

• Interpret policies and procedures to analyze loan applications and review documents.
• Ensure verification processes are completed and timely.
• Review notes and modifications after closing for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain appraisal databases including ordering appraisals and validating values.
• Prepare and review reports in support of the credit department.
• Manage tracking documents and complete small projects as necessary.
• Track insurance policies for collateral and coordinate with insurers.
• Keep abreast of new developments related to the role.
• Strengthen ties between the Bank and the community; perform other duties as assigned.
