Job summary

Farmers National Bank of Canfield is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Loan Support Specialist to assist the Commercial Loan Department. You will prepare and input loan documents, review for accuracy and compliance, and ensure lien perfection across various loan types.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years commercial loan related experience; title company experience preferred.
• Knowledge of loan documentation systems (e.g. Laser Pro) a plus.
• Ability to prioritize and multi task.
• Strong attention to detail and effective time management are required.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet navigation/research, and Outlook is expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and input commercial loan documents to reflect loan structure (C&I, CRE, construction loans, ABC lines of credit, standby letters of credit, modifications, renewals).
• Review loan documents for accuracy and compliance with bank policies and lien perfection requirements.
• Review supporting documentation to ensure compliance with loan approvals and regulatory requirements.
• Research governmental/public records to assess borrowing entity and signers for LLC/LLP/Trust.
• Review executed loan documents, forward for recording, and prepare disbursements.
• Record and file liens, titles, and UCC statements; manage paid-off loans and release liens.
• Organize loan files and coordinate with Loan Servicing for core system setup; retrieve files from vault as needed.
• Complete mandatory training including BSA/Anti-Money Laundering; maintain compliance with rules and regulations.
• Attend to other duties as assigned; maintain regular, predictable attendance.
