Job summary
Lendmark Financial Services LLC is seeking a Loan Consultant I to deliver exceptional customer experience while providing personal loan solutions. This role focuses on building a customer base through sales, loan extensions and merchant referrals, with emphasis on customer experience, compliance and achieving monthly goals.
The successful candidate will greet customers, process loans, market branch products, and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution; 0–2 years consumer finance experience
- Cash handling; computer skills; customer service skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and communicate effectively
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word Applications
Responsibilities
- Greet, assist and solicit individuals entering the office and calling by phone; receive and process credit verifications and record information
- Process payments, distributions, make recommendations regarding loan approvals
- Approve loans up to established lending limits, complete loan closings, handle account activity related to collections
- Prepare reports, correspondences and documentation; operate cash drawer and balance records
- Actively market all branch products and services to individuals
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management
