Lendmark Financial Services is seeking a Loan Consultant I to deliver an exceptional customer experience while providing personal loan solutions. The role focuses on building a customer base through sales, loan extensions and merchant referrals, aiming to achieve monthly goals with accuracy and compliance.

You will greet customers, process verifications, manage loan activities, and actively market branch products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of consumer finance or related experience.
• Cash handling, computer skills and strong customer service abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and show initiative.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for customer interactions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and solicit customers entering the office or calling by phone.
• Receive and process credit and employment verifications, and record information.
• Process payments and distributions; make loan-related recommendations.
• Approve loans up to lending limits; close loans and manage related accounts.
• Prepare reports and documentation; operate cash drawer and balance cash.
• Actively market branch products and services to individuals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
