Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Business Banking Closing Specialist to support the Sales Team and coordinate the closing of Business Banking Loans. You will interact with customers to ensure quality service and gather required collateral reports to meet credit approval terms.

Responsibilities include generating term sheets, ordering third-party reports, and liaising with legal for trust language while driving deals toward closings. Office-based role with potential flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; 1 year loan processing/closing experience preferred.
• Experience with Business Banking/Commercial closing documentation is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong sales/customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare term sheets and commitment letters, communicate with customers, order reports and title work, track expenses and fees, engage counsel for trusts and unique language.
• Coordinate closing dates and drive deals toward closing; provide administrative support to Sales Team.
• Partner with Sales, Credit, Loan Servicing and vendors to ensure timely closings.
• Process Business Banking loans in preparation for closing within service levels.
• Obtain collateral reports and information to meet credit approval terms; work with various collateral types.
• Assist in providing exemplary service to lending customers of Huntington.
• Assist with monthly maturities and resolutions of collateral exceptions.
• Ensure loan and collateral documentation complies with laws, regulations, and policies.
