Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience as a Loan Assistant/Closer in an FDIC insured financial institution or similar work environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service and sales background.
• Good working knowledge of state and federal banking regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to loan customers by preparing, scheduling, and executing loans in compliance with the bank’s lending policies and applicable regulations.
• Ensure all loan documentation, including credit reports, verification, and tax returns, is properly collected, updated and executed.
• Record and cancel titles, UCCs, and deeds of trust; assist customers in draws and payments on lines of credit; notarize documents as needed.
• Assist in preparation of loan packages for committee approval and maintain knowledge of loan system requirements.
• Sell and cross-sell bank products and services while ensuring compliance with banking laws and regulations.
