The closers responsibilities include reviewing loan data, completing missing or erroneous data and reviewing information submitted by the branches.

What You Will Do:
- Manage a pipeline of loans to ensure a timely, smooth and compliant closing for customers.
- Work with title company, branch and corporate staff to coordinate closing & funding, ensuring all conditions are met and policies are followed.
- Review documentation such as title report, appraisal, survey, underwriting approval, initial disclosures, rate lock confirmation, insurance quote/dec page, payoffs, invoices etc. and compare to system of record for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and review Pre-Closing and Closing Documents and coordinate with title company to confirm the final closing figures, wire and closing conditions.
- Request document preparation and review from attorneys, as needed.
- Review signed closing documents from title for completion and accuracy and ensure all closing and funding conditions have been met.
- Order wire and coordinate release of funds with title.
- Assist with any needed Post-Closing conditions.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required; management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this position at any time.
What You Need:
- 3+ years of Mortgage Loan Closing experience required.
- Knowledge of different mortgage loan types (Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Fixed Rate, Adjustable Rate, Buydown, Construction etc.).
- Must have working knowledge of TRID and other Federal and State mortgage compliance regulations.
- Ability to understand and comply with company policy, lender, investor and program guidelines as well as underwriting conditions.
- Must have a customer service orientation, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrates a professional and cooperative attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines (Closing & Funding Dates, Rate Lock and document expiration dates etc.)
- Effective listening and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong Experience with LOS (Encompass), Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel.
- eClosing experience is a plus.
