Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking an Operations Support (Loadout Operator) in Texas. This role handles loading/unloading fertilizer, blending products, warehouse inventory, and basic plant maintenance tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and at least one year of related experience; forklift experience is highly preferred, and basic mechanical knowledge is an asset for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• One or more years of related experience.
• Forklift operating experience is highly preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge is desired.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in succession (e.g., blending products, loading a truck, and driving).

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading fertilizer from trucks, railcars and barges.
• Cleaning and storing equipment after application process including cleaning inside fertilizer tanks.
• Receiving and unloading product and performing warehouse inventory and storage functions.
• Performing equipment and plant maintenance including welding, pump and engine overhauls, painting, and general housekeeping.
• Assisting with special projects and training sessions; providing back-up when needed.
• Assisting in loading/mixing/applying pesticides with proper adjuvants and conditions.
