Job summary

The Simplot Company in Independence, Oregon is seeking an Operations Support 3 (CDL/DOT) to execute essential tasks for agronomic service delivery and facility performance. You will load and deliver fertilizers and chemicals, operate equipment to blend products, and maintain warehouse inventory while ensuring safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates have a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and flexibility to work early mornings, evenings,

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements must be obtained on hire.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Experience in agricultural operations, equipment operation, or facility/warehouse work preferred.
• Able to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver fertilizers and chemicals to customer locations in compliance with safety and transport regulations.
• Operate equipment to accurately blend fertilizer.
• Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments; maintain warehouse inventory.
• Conduct general maintenance and housekeeping of plant equipment and facilities.
• Support miscellaneous operational needs including special projects, training, and cross-functional backup.
