Job summary

The Simplot Company in Hillje, TX is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Support to ensure safe delivery of fertilizer and chemicals to farms. You will blend products, calibrate equipment, and perform routine vehicle maintenance while supporting daily operations.

This full-time role requires a Class A/B CDL, 1+ year experience in agriculture or equipment operation, ability to operate heavy equipment, a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and strong communication and customer service

Qualifications

• CDL required.
• 1+ years of related experience (agriculture or equipment operation preferred).
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (sprayers, semi-trucks, trailers).
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and applying fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Communicating effectively with customers.
• Blending fertilizer and calibrating application equipment.
• Performing vehicle and equipment maintenance (including welding, pump/engine overhauls).
• Ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and HazMat regulations.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds or more as part of daily tasks.
