Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking an Operations Support for SGS Retail - Minden to support fertilizer and chemical deliveries, customer service, vehicle and equipment upkeep, and blending tasks. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and strong work ethics within an agricultural distribution environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years related experience, and the ability to operate heavy equipment and a semi-truck.

Qualifications

• 1+ years related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of basic farm equipment and operation preferred.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in succession (blending, loading, driving).
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as sprayer/applicator and semi-truck.
• Proficient computer use (Microsoft Office, Outlook).
• Ability to learn and use company software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with management, team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Performs gardening equipment and plant maintenance tasks; loading and delivering fertilizer and chemicals to customers; blending operations; warehouse inventory and storage responsibilities.
• Ensure proper loading and safe operation of vehicles per DOT, OSHA, and HazMat regulations.
• Assist with special projects, training sessions, and other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Promote Simplot brand to customers, employees and community and ensure safe, timely product deliveries and applications.
