Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is hiring for a Loader role at our store in Greenville, AL. You will help customers, locate and load merchandise, and support Pro/Garden Center loading areas as needed. The job involves safe operation of store equipment and proactive service for large orders.

Employees assist with stocking, order fulfillment, and maintaining clean, safe work areas, while complying with Lowe’s safety policies and procedures. High school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and basic software.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (phones/tablets).
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist customers with locating, selecting, and loading merchandise.
• Support checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store.
• Pull, stage, and prepare customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently.
• Use power equipment and store technology safely to move, stage, and load merchandise.
• Maintain in-stock conditions by down stocking and replenishing merchandise as needed.
• Assist with large order fulfillment while maintaining product quality and accuracy.
• Communicate product features, warranty, and Lowe’s program information to customers.
• Identify and report safety hazards, theft, and security concerns to management.
• Operate store equipment as needed (e.g., Zebra phone, CCTV, etc.).
