Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Loader, Non-Formula to support our warehouse operations. The role involves transporting items into trailers using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts or by hand, with an emphasis on safety and accuracy.

You will prepare pallets for shipping, observe quality standards, and maintain efficient flow in a multi-temperature warehouse environment. This position supports ongoing distribution operations and collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Able to lift 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).

Responsibilities

• Transports items to the trailer using forklift, pallet jack, or by hand in the correct stop sequence.
• Moves outgoing products from staging area to the loading dock with forklift.
• Wraps pallets, secures loads, and ensures shipping labels are in place as needed.
• Locates proper trailer slots and secures loads when complete.
• Inspects empty pallets and maintains a clean, safe work area.
