Job summary

R+L Carriers seeks an Outbound Loader Supervisor for our Otsego, MN Service Center to lead dock and dispatch operations and manage a fast-paced team. This role emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and efficient freight handling.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to navigate scheduling, safety, and quality control within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and logistical skills.
• Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred.
• Must have computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage dock and dispatch operations at the Otsego, MN Service Center.
• Coordinate dock operation and scheduling for drivers and freight handlers.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to quality freight handling procedures.
• Oversee timely dispatching of LTL loads.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.

Requirements

• Driver and Freight Handler Management


• Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling


• Ensure Safety Compliance


• Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed


• Timely dispatching of LTL Loads


• Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager


• Candidates must have proven basic leadership experience.


• Must have the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong Organizational /Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities.


• Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred.


• Must have computer skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office products.


• Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areas

Preferred

• Prior LTL leadership experience
