Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is hiring for a Loader role at our New York stores. You will assist customers, locate and load merchandise, and support checkout and order fulfillment.

The job involves operating store equipment safely and maintaining store cleanliness and stock levels. Role includes helping with Pro and Garden Center orders, ensuring accurate loading, and providing excellent customer service across the sales floor.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months retail experience preferred.
• 6 months experience as a Loader at any home improvement or hardware retailer.
• 6 months retail merchandising experience, including zone recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting, pricing, signage, housekeeping.
• 6 months experience inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Support checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs.
• Pull, stage, and prepare customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently.
• Use power equipment and store technology safely to move and load merchandise.
• Maintain in-stock conditions by stocking and replenishing merchandise.
• Assist with large order fulfillment ensuring product quality and accuracy.
• Identify and report safety hazards or theft to management or Asset Protection.
• Operate store equipment as needed for specific roles and departments.
