Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• 6 Months Retail experience (preferred)
• 6 Months Experience as a Loader at any home improvement or hardware retailer (preferred)
• 6 Months Retail merchandising experience, including performing Zone Recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping (preferred)
• 6 Months Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles. (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise while responding promptly to customers and associate questions
• Supports checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store
• Pulls, stages, and prepares customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently
• Use power equipment and store technology safely and effectively to move, stage, and load merchandise
• Maintains in-stock conditions by down stocking and replenishing merchandise as needed
• Supports large order fulfillment while maintaining product quality and accuracy
• Collect carts and help maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas inside the store and parking lot
• Identifies and reports safety hazards, theft, and security concerns to management and/or Asset Protection
• Operates store equipment as needed depending on one specific role and department
• Communicates all stock, special order merchandise, product features, application, warranty, and Lowe’s program information to customers
• Follows all Lowe’s safety policies and procedures, including proper use of power equipment, spotters and safety devices
• Performs additional duties as assigned
• Loader-specific: Pro Desk extension, loading, staging, and order fulfillment for Pro customers
• Loader-specific: ensure safety and efficiency in loading large or complex orders
• Garden Center-specific: assist loading and order completion in Garden Center
• Garden Center-specific: coordinate with supervisor to stage orders for pickup
