Job summary

Shirley Contracting Company, LLC is seeking a heavy equipment operator to work on various jobsites year-round in the United States. The role requires operating heavy equipment and performing routine maintenance, with an onsite try-out and potential for overtime.

You will support projects while upholding safety standards and working with foremen, customers, and co-workers. Key duties include operating loaders, performing daily maintenance, and completing tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment; an onsite try-out will be conducted.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Must pass pre-employment physical/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate rubber tire or track loader.
• Perform maintenance including greasing, fluid checks, and cleaning of tracks.
• Daily equipment cleaning and reporting deficiencies to foreman.
• Be willing to perform manual labor to support projects.
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers.

• Report deficiencies to foreman immediately

• Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with customers and co‑workers

Start times vary between 6:00AM and 7:00AM. Overtime, nights and weekends may be required.
