Job summary

GardenCore LLC is seeking a Loader Operator to operate heavy equipment following safety policies to produce quality products. The role requires reading specifications, maintaining equipment, and performing routine maintenance as part of daily duties.

The position includes teamwork in a manufacturing setting with opportunities for growth and advancement within GardenCore’s US operations. Strong reliability and physical fitness are important for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; 2 years related experience
• Must pass internal certification program
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operation manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to perform basic math for measurements
• Ability to carry out written or oral instructions

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements
• Sets stops or guides to lengths as indicated by scale or templates
• Observes equipment operation to detect malfunctions
• Performs routine maintenance including lubricating, fueling and cleaning
• Inspects and completes equipment report daily
• Maintains clear and orderly workspace in assigned area
• Operates levers, shifts gears, and maneuvers steering wheel of operator equipment
• Other duties as needed
