Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous construction experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate rubber-tired or crawler tractors with front-end scoop buckets safely and efficiently.
• Excavate and load materials from pits, stockpiles, and batch plants; load trucks as needed.
• Maintain workplace safety for yourself and the team.
• Lift materials weighing up to 50-100 pounds unassisted when required.
• Communicate clearly with co-workers using hand signals and eye contact during equipment operation.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe work practices.
• Follow Foreman directions for daily tasks and project expectations.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor servicing; escalate major issues to Foreman.
• Complete daily pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and document findings.
• Assist in training less experienced team members on equipment operation, service, and repair.
• Perform general labor duties as required to support site operations.
