Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH Company, seeks an experienced equipment operator in Oklahoma to support our asphalt and aggregate operations. You will operate tractors and loaders, load materials, and assist with training while maintaining high safety standards.

You must hold a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift 50–100 pounds, and work outdoors in varying weather. Commitment to safe, efficient site operations is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous construction experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate rubber-tired or crawler tractors with front-end scoop buckets safely and efficiently.
• Excavate and load materials from pits, stockpiles and batch plants; load trucks as needed.
• Maintain a vigilant approach to workplace safety for yourself and your team.
• Lift materials weighing up to 50–100 pounds unassisted when required.
• Communicate clearly with co-workers using hand signals and eye contact.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA safety regulations and company policies.
• Follow Foreman instructions on daily tasks and project expectations.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor servicing.
• Complete daily pre- and post-operation inspections and document findings.
• Assist in training less experienced team members on equipment operation.
• Perform general labor duties to support site operations.
