Job summary

Smyrna Ready Mix LLC in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Loader Operator to run front-end loaders and other heavy equipment, moving sand, gravel, and cement to keep our concrete plants flowing smoothly. You’ll work with a crew to meet production schedules and maintain safety.

This is a hands-on role with opportunities for growth. We offer local work with home daily, overtime after 8 hours, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience operating loaders or other heavy equipment; training provided.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Physically able to work outdoors in all weather.
• High school diploma or equivalent is helpful, but not required.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant—keeping our concrete flowing and our operations moving.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors so our team always has the materials they need.
• Work side-by-side with your crew and production team to keep things running on schedule.
• Check your equipment before and after each shift, and report any issues for safety.
• Follow all safety rules, wear required gear, and help keep the plant a safe place for everyone.
• Keep work area clean and organized—the site must be safe and tidy.
• Help count inventory and ensure materials are available when needed.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to help us improve daily.
• Be ready to lend a hand wherever you’re needed.
