Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking a Plant Loader Operator in Longview, TX to operate heavy equipment on groundworks and construction projects. The role requires following safety procedures, communicating with the foreman, and performing routine inspections and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years related experience, with ability to travel and work nights/weekends as needed. Join our team delivering quality materials across Texas.

Qualifications

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain time and material records as required.
• Assist in training less-experienced workers.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment of various sizes safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe procedures.
• Report problems to Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or HR Manager.
• Follow Foreman directions on daily tasks and expectations for each project.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance; refer major problems to supervisor.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-inspections with documentation.
• Assist in training others to operate equipment and perform repairs.
• Perform general laboring duties when required.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
