The role involves directing truck drivers during loading/unloading, operating scales and packaging equipment, and maintaining accurate data records. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of heavy equipment experience, strong safety adherence, and the ability to work in 24/7 production environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• 1+ year experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to consistently comply with PPE and safety standards on the production floor.
• Pass certifications on all materials handling equipment on site.
• Experience working in a 24/7 production environment.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Direct truck drivers during loading and unloading.
• Operate scale and record weights and dimensions accurately.
• Operate packaging equipment to securely transport inbound, cross-dock, and outbound loads.
• Load and unload material at standard production rates.
• Inspect material handling equipment before operating and record inspection data.
• Visually differentiate between similar metals and report variances.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
