You will load and operate machines, monitor equipment, record weights and downtime, and address safety, quality, and production issues while following PPE requirements.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills.

• Ability to stay on task with limited supervision.
• Experience operating conveyor feed machinery or working with recycled materials preferred, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Weigh out finished materials – record and document weights and downtime.
• Record and document potential safety, quality, and production issues.
• Troubleshoot minor issues with the machine and communicate with the maintenance department.
• Adhere to all safety and PPE requirements.

• Other duties as assigned.

As a Line Operator, you’ll help ensure materials are processed accurately, equipment is monitored safely, and production goals are met on time. • Clear and prevent jams in machines
• Weigh out finished materials – record and document weights and downtime
• Record and document potential safety, quality, and production issues
• Troubleshoot minor issues with the machine and communicate with the maintenance department
• Adhere to all safety and PPE requirements
• Keep assigned work area clean and organized
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic math skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to stay on task with limited supervision
• Experience operating conveyor feed machinery or working with recycled materials preferred, but not required

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Required to lift up to 50lbs, several times a day
• Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, climb, crouch, stoop, kneel, reach, and bend while working
• Required to have manual dexterity for writing and banding activity
• Continuously working around loud machinery, requiring hearing protection
• Buildings are heated during the winter, but conditions could be cold in the winter and hot in the summer
• Processing areas can be dirty, dusty, and wet
