Job summary

ODL, Inc is seeking a dependable Material Handler to safely transport materials within the facility and to shipping areas. This role operates an industrial lift truck to stage materials per tickets, unloads trucks, and ensures accurate documentation using computers and scanners.

Responsibilities include cross-dock trans-loads, proper part number verification, and ensuring all shipments are prepared on time with correct paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2–3 years material handling/forklift experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn Oracle, MS Office Outlook, and scanning systems.
• Good math skills and knowledge of part numbers/products.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; able to prioritise responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial lift truck to stage materials per move tickets and verbal instructions.
• Unload trucks and receive/put away products.
• Verify part numbers and quantities; ensure documentation accuracy with computers and scanning devices.
• Maintain safety rules and report inconsistencies to supervisor.
• Process trans-loads for inbound and outbound cross-dock.
• Prepare orders for on-time shipment and ensure proper documentation.
