Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 1+ year experience in Transportation/Supply Chain preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and sense of urgency.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to learn and operate various computer systems.
• Able to develop professional relationships with customers and Penske associates.
• Able to analyze information, make decisions per SOP, and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Load-building: add shipments to a load, rate, secure carrier coverage, and set appointments.
• Provide excellent customer service to assigned accounts.
• Handle call center and shared email box responsibilities.
• Provide shipment visibility through tracking and audits.
• Recover customer loads and maintain daily logs and trackers.
• Assist via phone and email with cross-shift handoffs and training.
• Participate in other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
