Job summary

The Minnesota Star Tribune is seeking a Load Lead to join the fleet operations team in Minneapolis. In this fast-paced role you will oversee loading of newspaper carts, pallets, and freight for distribution, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.

You will coordinate daily loading activities, drive team productivity, and maintain a safe, organized workflow. Qualified candidates have warehouse or logistics experience, can work 3rd shift including overnights and weekends, and are legally

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing or logistics preferred.
• Ability to work a 3rd shift, including overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing 25 pounds or more regularly.
• Strong reading and comprehension to interpret shipping manifests and docs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret and execute shipping manifests for loading and shipment.
• Coordinate with Dispatch and leadership to resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with drivers to ensure safe, accurate loading for distribution.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment and adhere to policies.
