Job summary

The Minnesota Star Tribune is seeking a Load Lead in Minneapolis, MN to oversee the loading of newspaper carts, pallets, and freight for distribution. You will coordinate daily loading activities, drive team productivity, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining a safe, organized workflow in a production facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment preferred.
• Ability to work a 3rd shift schedule, including overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping manifests and work instructions.
• Strong math skills for counts, quantities and shipping data.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret and execute shipping manifests to ensure timely loading and shipment.
• Partner with Dispatch and leadership to resolve shipping discrepancies and manifest issues.
• Collaborate with drivers and partners to coordinate safe and efficient loading of products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment in line with policies.
