Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and three months experience performing similar tasks.
• Forklift certification required.
• Knowledge of company products sufficient for weight, shape, and handling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trucks or customer vehicles.
• Performs load-building ensuring load is balanced and safe for hauling.
• Conveys materials to or from storage using hand truck or forklift.

Skills

Forklift operation

Knowledge of safety procedures

Manual dexterity

Ability to use simple hand tools

Ability to read and write to handle work orders
