Job summary

PARR is hiring a Load Builder to safely and efficiently assemble building material loads for our drivers. The role involves handling inventory, loading and unloading trucks, and keeping records accurate in a busy outdoor yard environment.

The position requires OSHA forklift certification and knowledge of lumber products; overtime and local travel may be needed. We offer strong benefits and growth opportunities within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• OSHA certified forklift license required.
• Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and invoices.
• Knowledge of dimension lumber, panel products and building materials.
• Experience with receiving/inventory control and maintaining accurate stock.

Responsibilities

• Builds safe, efficient loads by reading tickets and invoices.
• Reads SKUs and identifies material types to assemble loads.
• Load/off-load trucks using forklift and manual handling.
• Complete inventory adjustments and stock locations.
• Open/close yard and ensure paperwork accuracy.
• Maintain yard cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Cross-train as backup driver or dispatcher if needed.
