Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Cambridge, MA seeks a Senior Associate Scientist to join the LNP Process Development team. You will work on developing and implementing robust LNP processes from early development through clinical manufacturing, with support from senior staff.

The role offers exposure to cross-functional teams, documentation for regulatory submissions, and opportunities to grow in a fast-paced, science-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in bio/chemical engineering, chemistry, or related field.
• BS with 6+ years in science fields; MS 4–6; PhD 0–2.
• Experience with LNP process development and scale-up.
• Knowledge of DoE, QbD and process analytics.

Responsibilities

• Execute hands-on laboratory experiments for LNP process development and scale-up from bench to pilot scale.
• Design experiments for optimization and characterization of lipid nanoparticles using QbD/DoE.
• Contribute to protocols, reports, and batch records for early to late development.
• Perform routine analytical testing for LNP characterization (DLS, HPLC).
• Analyze data, present findings to scientists and project teams.
• Collaborate with internal R&D, analytics, and manufacturing to advance LNP pipeline.
