Job summary
Teal Energi is seeking an experienced Civil / Structural Project Engineer to provide owner-side engineering support for capital projects and engineering activities at an operating LNG facility in Corpus Christi, Texas. This hands‑on role supports projects throughout development, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
The Civil / Structural Project Engineer will work closely with Projects, Engineering, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, EPC contractors,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer license in Texas.
- Significant civil/structural experience in LNG/oil & gas facilities.
- Experience supporting projects through engineering/design and construction.
- Knowledge of civil/structural codes: IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC.
Responsibilities
- Provide civil and structural engineering support for capital projects.
- Serve as owner’s technical representative for civil/structural scopes.
- Review drawings, calculations, specs for accuracy and constructability.
- Support field engineering during construction and turnover.
- Coordinate interfaces with multiple disciplines and EPC/contractors.
- Identify risks and develop practical, safe, cost-effective solutions.
