Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is hiring a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) for 7am–7pm, 36 hours per week, onsite at 789 Central Avenue. A $750 sign-on bonus is offered. Pay is based on experience with excellent benefits.

Under licensed supervision, you will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vitals, perform basic clinical tasks, and support RN/doctor rounds to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No substitution of experience for education.
• BLS preferred.
• LNA certification required by NH Board of Nursing.
• 0–1 year of patient care/elder care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and computer skills; ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care duties including vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, bathing, transfers and 1:1 observation.
• Accurately document patient information in the EHR.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Ensure rooms are stocked and cleaned according to patient needs.
• Support patient admissions and discharges and orient new staff.
