Job summary

Acacia Network in New York City seeks a licensed social worker to provide individual and group services to adults with substance use and mental health disorders, helping them achieve life goals and overall wellness.

Under supervision of the Program Director, you will document in line with OASAS/OMH standards, participate in treatment planning, risk assessment, and crisis planning, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work required.
• Current and unrestricted LMSW licensure in NYS.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in mental or behavioral health.
• Mandated reporter training within 30 days of hire.
• Additional trainings in MAT, SBIRT, ethics, and CFR confidentiality within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group services to adults with substance use and/or mental health disorders.
• Conduct DSM diagnostic assessments and treatment planning with documented records.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and participate in treatment planning and risk assessment.
• Ensure program compliance through accurate paperwork and reporting.
• Maintain professional development and attend trainings to improve competence.
