Job summary

hyrusinc is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Business Analyst to support a large-scale LMS transformation. You will partner with Learning & Development, Technology, Operations, and LMS vendors to define business requirements, evaluate current processes, and design future-state solutions.

The role involves coordinating functional testing and supporting change readiness across the organization to ensure a smooth transition to the new LMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IS, Learning & Development, HR, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience implementing, administering, or supporting Learning Management Systems (LMS) or comparable enterprise platforms.
• Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Experience developing and executing functional and user acceptance testing plans.
• Strong process mapping and business process improvement skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and maintain business requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes.
• Analyze current workflows and conduct time studies to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
• Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to design and implement scalable solutions.
• Develop and execute functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Validate system functionality, track defects, and support issue resolution.
• Assist with data validation, migration activities, and implementation readiness.
• Support development of operational processes and standard work for the future LMS environment.
