Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Learning Management System Associate to support the Learning and Development team. The role includes maintaining the LMS catalog, troubleshooting, and delivering training-related admin tasks to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience), two years in a training environment, and familiarity with LMS systems, with strong attention to detail and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (or a combination of experience and education of 2 years).
• Two years of experience in training work environment, as an administrative assistant, or other similar role.
• Familiarity with social services and related issues.
• Previous work experience with learning management system(s).

Responsibilities

• Maintain the LMS course catalog and offerings for employees.
• Configure and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) for the organization.
• Update, publish, and maintain LMS content and assets; ensure content is current and consistent.
• Troubleshoot LMS help desk tickets and follow up with internal customers.
• Build and test learning assets in LMS (courses, eLearning, materials, videos, curricula).
• Provides administrative support of the LMS including: adding courses, assigning learners, tracking log-ins.
• Running, scheduling, and reviewing LMS reports.
• Support Learning and Development scheduling and logistics.
